The brains behind the success and expertise of Career Search America are Jean Miller and Margaret O'Brien, a duo with over 20 years of experience in helping individuals at every stage of their careers.

Jean M. Muller

Jean Muller is an experienced Human Resource professional with proven success in consulting to high technology, health care, professional services, non-profits, and insurance industries.

Skilled in all functional areas of human resources, communication, business planning and change management, Jean’s expertise is in diagnosing and improving organizational design for increased effectiveness. She uses succession planning and assessment to ensure available talent and organizational readiness, coaching executives to higher levels of performance, and building business-focused people practices in early stages of an entrepreneurial start-up or enterprise renewal.

Jean works with individual leaders to maximize transitional situations and with organizations to build expandable, results oriented HR and management practices. Currently, Jean’s business finds her traveling to VA to work with Military personnel in transition. The focus is to enhance their understanding of what today’s employers expect candidates to know and to do in all aspects of the employment cycle. Workshops that provide the tools and techniques to accomplish this are held at the Marine Corps base at Quantico, VA.

Margaret M. O’Brien

Ms. O’Brien, Margey, has been working as a Human Resources Consultant for companies analyzing their people practices, and educating managers to enhance their effectiveness.

Margey is an experienced Human Resource professional with more than twenty years primarily in the lodging/hospitality industry. She has broad experience in recruitment, employee relations, facilities management and security. Her clients include organizations of all sizes from start-ups to multi-national corporations.

Margey has hired and coached managers in all lines of business with a particular focus the areas of Information Technology, Information Services and Finance. She consults with managers and senior leaders regarding the implications of company policies and practices. Her no-nonsense, detail- and results-focused approach has earned her praise from management and employees alike.

As a personal coach and personal branding consultant, Margey helps individuals identify skill sets that are transferable from one career opportunity to another. Over the years she has critiqued thousands of resumes, at all levels from hourly employees to senior executives in both the public and private sectors. She provides these insights and expertise in the Military Transition Workshops held currently for the Marine Corps in Quantico.
